As a pioneer of high performance drive technology, ARADEX has been a reliable and competent partner for more than 30 years. Though the company's roots lie in industrial control and drive technology for manufacturing machines, the focus has shifted to mobile drive technology.Since the end of 2019, ARADEX has become a part of China Weichai Group, mainly strengthening enterprise groups in the field of new energy/electric drive solutions. Nonetheless, our corporate culture is still dominated by the company’s founder, and there are about 80 employees at our Lorch factory, near Stuttgart.
ARADEX focuses on electrification and hybrid power of commercial vehicles, construction machinery and special ships. Our core competitiveness lies in the development and production of converters (inverters), DC/DC converters and motors, as well as overall powertrain optimization. Our drive solutions feature perfect tuning, ingenious technical features and above-average efficiency. As part of the overall drivetrain optimization, we can also arrange and optimize the integration of other drive components from our partner network, such as batteries, fuel cells, gearboxes, etc.
