In recent years, Weichai has won the National Quality Award, China Trademark Gold Award – Trademark Innovation Award, State Demonstration Base of Enterprise Culture, China Quality Award, and other honorary titles. The project “Key Technology and Application of Powertrain for Heavy-duty commercial vehicle” was awarded the first prize of the State Science and Technology Advancement Award in 2018. Xuguang Tan, chairman of the Company, is also the Secretary of Party Committee and chairman of both Shandong Heavy Industry Group and China National Heavy Duty Truck Group and chairman of Weichai Group.
